■SERVICES

The supply of the service to you (The Customer) by TOUR GOLD COAST (The Company), details of which are set out below.

The service provided by the Company includes the provision of sightseeing tours by passenger-carrying vehicles, passenger-carrying boats, and guided walking tours.

Though the content of the website and the booking process are available in a variety of languages, tickets and confirmation emails will be only generated in English. Similarly, all communication from Tour Gold Coast and to the Tour Gold Coast Company is required in English.

■E-TICKETS and VOUCHERS

Customers purchasing tickets and vouchers on this website will have them delivered to them by way of E-ticket/E-Voucher. The Customer will need to print the E-ticket/E-Voucher and bring the printed copy with them to present to a staff member at the beginning of the tour or at entrance of the park.

■E-TICKET REDEMPTION 

Customers with E-tickets must bring the printed E-ticket along with valid photo ID of the “Lead Traveller”, whose name is printed on the E-ticket. The Customer should present their E-ticket to a Tour Gold Coast uniformed member of staff, at the commencement of the tour. Tour Gold Coast reserves the right to refuse any E-tickets presented without valid photo ID.

■TICKETS TO TRAVEL 

The Customer should keep their ticket safe as replacements may be difficult to issue. The Customer must show or purchase their ticket as they board the tour. The ticket remains the property of the company and must be produced for inspection and, if requested to do so, be surrendered upon demand to an authorised Company Official. The Customer will not be permitted to use any Tour Gold Coast service without a valid ticket with correct details of the tour type, tour date and passenger numbers.

■TICKET VALIDITY 

The ticket entitles the Customer to participate in the tour as printed on the ticket. Tickets are only valid for the tour type, tour date and passenger numbers that are printed on the ticket.

■CHILDREN 

Child tickets are available for Children between the ages of 4 and 11. Once a child turns 12 they are deemed to be an adult. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

■DEPARTURE POINTS AND TIMES 

The Company endeavours to provide departure points and times for the service/tour which are as accurate as possible. However, the Company reserves the right, as circumstances require, to vary such departure points and times making all reasonable endeavours to give you ample notice of such changes.

■TOUR ROUTE 

The Company reserves the right to deviate from the route of a service in the event of road blocks, force majeure, acts of terrorism, or where it is reasonably prudent to do so in the light of circumstances beyond the Company’s control, and considering passenger safety.

■REFUNDS 

In the event that the Company is unable to provide a service/Tour on the date listed on your ticket, and where circumstances within its control, you shall be entitled to change the date of your service/tour, or a full or part refund of the price of your ticket. Any application for a refund must be made in writing (tickets must be enclosed) to the Company’s offices.

■TICKET AGENTS 

Where a ticket is purchased from one of the Company’s Ticket Agents, any query, regarding the ticket purchase or refund request, must be referred to the Ticket Agent who sold the ticket.

■VEHICLES AND VEHICLE SAFETY 

During busy periods, seating cannot be guaranteed on tours unless Customers have booked and paid in advance and are holding a valid Ticket.

The Company reserves the right to refuse Customers access to travel on a particular tour should circumstance be deemed to compromise tour safety.

■BOATS

Sightseeing tours may involve services provided by other companies such as boat cruise operators. When using the facilities of such companies, the terms and conditions of those companies will be applicable.

■ACCIDENT OR LOSS 

Please take care of all personal property. The Company will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by the Company, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price.

■ALCOHOL 

The consumption of alcohol is not permitted on vehicles at any time.

■SMOKING 

Smoking is not permitted on vehicles at any time, nor is it permitted in the National Parks visited on the Company’s tours by Queensland Parks & Wildlife regulations.

■CUSTOMER CONDUCT

We may at our discretion require any person to alight from a tour if we deem his/her conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, or if behaving in such a way as to constitute a risk to his/her safety or to the safety of other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.
