■SERVICES

The supply of the service to you (The Customer) by TOUR GOLD COAST (The Company), details of which are set out below.

The service provided by the Company includes the provision of sightseeing tours by passenger-carrying vehicles, passenger-carrying boats, and guided walking tours.

Though the content of the website and the booking process are available in a variety of languages, tickets and confirmation emails will be only generated in English. Similarly, all communication from Tour Gold Coast and to the Tour Gold Coast Company is required in English.

■TICKETS and VOUCHERS (Booking confirmations)

Tickets and vouchers purchased on this website will be sent to you as an email attachment or in the body of the email. Please print or display the email or attachment on your electrical devise and present it to our staff when you join the tour. If printing is specifically required, it will be indicated on the ticket or in the e-mail.

■TICKETS TO TRAVEL

The Customer should keep their tickets and vouchers safe as replacements may be difficult to issue. The Customer must show their ticket/voucher as they board the tour. The Customer will not be permitted to use any Tour Gold Coast service without a valid ticket/voucher with correct details of the tour type, tour date and passenger numbers.

■TICKETS and VOUCHERS VALIDITY

The ticket entitles the Customer to participate in the tour as printed on the ticket. Tickets are only valid for the tour type, tour date and passenger numbers that are printed on the ticket.

■CHILDREN

Child tickets are vary in age depends on tour product. Please make sure child age for each tour when you purchase. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all time.

■DEPARTURE POINTS AND TIMES

The Company endeavours to provide departure points and times for the service/tour which are as accurate as possible. However, the Company reserves the right, as circumstances require, to vary such departure points and times making all reasonable endeavours to give you ample notice of such changes.

■TOUR ROUTE

The Company reserves the right to deviate from the route of a service in the event of road blocks, force majeure, acts of terrorism, or where it is reasonably prudent to do so in the light of circumstances beyond the Company’s control, and considering passenger safety.

■REFUNDS

In the event that the Company is unable to provide a service/Tour on the date listed on your ticket, and where circumstances within its control, you shall be entitled to change the date of your service/tour, or a full or part refund of the price of your ticket. Any application for a refund must be made in writing (tickets must be enclosed) to the Company’s offices.

■TICKET AGENTS

Where a ticket is purchased from one of the Company’s Ticket Agents, any query, regarding the ticket purchase or refund request, must be referred to the Ticket Agent who sold the ticket.

■VEHICLES AND VEHICLE SAFETY

During busy periods, seating cannot be guaranteed on tours unless Customers have booked and paid in advance and are holding a valid Ticket.

The Company reserves the right to refuse Customers access to travel on a particular tour should circumstance be deemed to compromise tour safety.

■BOATS

Sightseeing tours may involve services provided by other companies such as boat cruise operators. When using the facilities of such companies, the terms and conditions of those companies will be applicable.

■ACCIDENT OR LOSS

Please take care of all personal property. The Company will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by the Company, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price.

■FOOD and ALCOHOL

Consumption of food and alcohol is not permitted on vehicles at any time.

■SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted during the tour at any time. In addition, Queensland National Parks regulations prohibit smoking in the national park visited on our tour.

■CUSTOMER CONDUCT

We may at our discretion require any person to alight from a tour if we deem his/her conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, or if behaving in such a way as to constitute a risk to his/her safety or to the safety of other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.
